A non-sterile, non-woven rayon or rayon blend pad, containing not less than 0.65g of 70% isopropyl alcohol, and hermetically sealed in a pouch of foil plastic laminate. The alcohol swab shall be used as a topical anti-infective agent for pre-injection preparation and post-injection cleansing of the skin and shall be disposed of following a single hypodermic needle injection.
