Enfalac Baby Infant Formula Step 1 500g (For Babies 0-12 Months)

Enfalac Baby Step 1 with MFGM and DHA + ARA is designed for full term infants from birth to 12 months. Enfalac Baby Step 1 contains:

  • MFGM: A whey protein concentrate which contains Milk Fat Globule Membrane. MFGM is a natural source of phospholipids and sphingomyelin which are found abundantly in the brain. MFGM also contains source of proteins to support baby's growth and development. 
  • 20mg DHA and 25mg ARA.
  • High in calcium (aids in the development of strong bones and teeth), vitamin D (helps the body utilize calcium and phosphorus) and iron (a factor in red blood cell formation).
  • Blend of PDX and GOS: A blend of mixture containing 50% polydextrose (PDX) and galactooligosaccharides (GOS) which are prebiotics, and is patented in US, Europe, Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong. 

Enfalac Baby step 1 is now added with 2'-FL, a milk Oligosaccharide which is derived from lactose. 

Feeding Schedule:

Use the table below for correct amounts of boiled water and powder. Use scoop in box to measure powder. Store DRY scoop in this pouch.

Note: One level scoop (average 4.4g) of Enfalac Baby Step 1 powder to 30mL water. A term baby, weighing 2.5kg or more, needs an average of 150mL/kg body weight of milk per day. The exact amount at one feed varies. Consult your baby's healthcare professional for advice. When your baby reaches 6 months, consult your health professional about the addition of complementary foods to provide a balance diet.

Storage: 

  • Store pouch at room temperature. 
  • After opening, fold and clip tightly the cut section.
  • Keep opened pouch in a clean, dry and airtight container. 
  • Use contents within 1 month after opening. 
  • Do not freeze powder and avoid excessive heat.

Warnings:

  • Do not use a microwave oven to warm formula. Serious burns may result. 
  • Once prepared, infant formula can spoil quickly. Either feed immediately or cover and store in refrigerator at 2-4°C for no longer than 24 hours. 
  • Do not use prepared formula if it is unrefrigerated for more than a total of 2 hours. 
  • Do not freeze prepared formula. 
  • After feeding begins, use formula within 1 hour or discard. 
  • Do not use if the aluminium pack is torn or punctured. 
  • Powdered infant formulas are not sterile and should not be fed to premature infants or infants who might have immune problems unless directed and supervised by your baby's health professional.
