Indication: Treatment of tobacco dependence by relieving nicotine craving and withdrawal symptoms thereby facilitating smoking cessation in smokers motivated to quit.

Dosage and Directions For Use: 

• Wash and dry hands before and after use. 
• Apply to clean and dry skin using a different part of the body each day. 
• Remove the silvery aluminium layer. 
• Do not touch the sticky surface. 
• Press the patch firmly onto skin with your palm or fingertips. 
• Run your fingers around the edge to ensure it sticks firmly. 

(a) Adults (heavy smokers, 15 or more cigarettes per day):

• Week 1-8 25mg Step 1
• Week 9-10 15mg Step 2
• Week 11-12 10mg Step 3 

(b) Adults (light smokers, less than 15 cigarettes per day):

• Week 1-8 15mg Step 2
  
• Week 9-10 10mg Step 3
  
• Week 11-12 10mg Step 3
  
  
• Use one new patch per day. 
  
• Apply on the skin upon waking up in the morning and remove at bedtime. 
  
• Not recommended for use over a period in excess of 6 months but some people may need longer treatment in order to avoid getting into a smoking habit again.
  

Active ingredient: Nicotine 1.75mg/cm2.

Cautions:

• Do not use if you have an allergy to nicotine or any of the other ingredients. 
• Do not use if you are under 18 years of age without recommendation from a healthcare professional.
• Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
• Keep out of reach and sight of children.
• Store below 30ºC.
• Dispose sensibly.
