Viartril-S sachet is used as an adjuvant therapy for osteoarthritis (loss of cartilage in the joints). Viartril-S sachet contains crystalline glucosamine sulphate as active ingredient. Crystalline glucosamine sulphate provides relief to joint disease by reducing joint swelling and pain. 

Dosage and Directions For Use:

• Adults: Take 1 sachet, dissolved in a glass of water. To be taken once daily preferably at meals or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. 
• Pain relief or anti-inflammatory medicines can be taken together with Viartril-S sachet. 

Ingredients: 
Crystalline glucosamine sulphate 1884mg (equivalent to glucosamine 1500mg and sodium chloride 384mg), aspartame, sorbitol, macrogol 4000, citric acid. 

Cautions:

• Do not take Viartril-S sachet if you have:
  (a) Hypersensitivity to glucosamine or any other ingredients of this medicine. 
  (b) Phenylketonuria (PKU) as this medicine contains aspartame, a source of phenylalanine. 
  (c) Hereditary fructose intolerance (HFI) as this medicine contains sorbitol. 
  (d) Allergies to shellfish as the active ingredient is obtained from seafood (shellfish). 
• Do not take Viartril-S sachet if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. 
• Do not give this medicine to children and adolescent under the age of 18 as the safety and efficacy have not been established. 
• Keep out of the reach and sight of children. 
• Do not store above 30ºC.
